Walt Whitman Science Bonanza: Where Curiosity Meets Innovation

Budding scientists from kindergarten through fifth grade at Walt Whitman Elementary School showcased their ingenuity and scientific curiosity at the annual school science fair. The event, held on March 19, 2025, was a vibrant display of hands-on learning, teamwork, and creative problem-solving.

This year’s fair saw a diverse range of projects, with students exploring everything from the properties of liquids to the mysteries of plant growth. Each participant embraced the scientific method, formulating hypotheses, conducting experiments, and meticulously recording their findings.

"It's incredible to see the level of enthusiasm and critical thinking these young students possess," said Ms. Nupp and Ms. Bookspan, WW Science Mentors. "They've truly grasped the essence of scientific inquiry."
