Science Gets Silly: Dr. Science Electrifies Walt Whitman Elementary

The gym at Walt Whitman Elementary was buzzing with kooky energy this past Wednesday, January 28, as students gathered for a high-octane kickoff to the upcoming Walt Whitman Science Bonanza featuring an unforgettable visit from the one and only Dr. Science. During the Wacky Science Show, the zany presenter turned the Scientific Method into a live-action performance, blending nutty magic tricks and stand-up comedy to make complex concepts accessible for every grade level. From using ordinary household items in mind-blowing lab experiments to inviting students onstage for hands-on stunts, Dr. Science successfully transformed the student body into a sea of science kids who learned that the path to discovery is paved with observation, hypothesis, and a whole lot of laughter. We would like to thank the PTA for bringing this assembly to our school and for their continued support in making these learning experiences possible for our students as we head into our Science Bonanza season.
