Walt Whitman: From Students to Speciaists!

Third grade has transformed into a bustling hub of curiosity and expertise! During our writing unit, students stepped into the role of non-fiction authors, diving deep into topics they are passionate about. Whether they crafted detailed Expert Books or explored a self-driven Genius Hour project, the focus was on the power of research.

Students practiced navigating informational texts, taking organized notes, and translating complex facts into teaching tools for their peers. From the fascinating life of sharks to the history and techniques of gymnastics, our third graders have proven that they aren't just students, they are true masters of their craft!
